We are looking for Firmware Development Support Engineer II to join our team.
Firmware Development Support Engineer II
Firmware Development Support Engineer II is responsible for supporting all activities in the firmware department at Meteorcomm:
- Facilitate functional testing and operation of firmware products and deliverables [15%]
- Understand and assist the team in the use of quality assurance tools and practices [25%]
- Within an Agile/Scrum development environment, design, develop, test, and maintain firmware developed in the firmware department [15%]
- Work with testers and other developers to support overall radio system integration [30%]
- Support the team in the use of embedded debugging tools [15%]
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree)
In addition, a minimum of 2 years of work experience which must include each of the following:
- 2 years in Embedded C/C++ development, debugging, and testing
- 2 years in Agile software development process
- 2 years in working with Xilinx SoC processors.
- 2 years in working independently and with a small team of engineers
- 2 years in Code Collaborator or similar code review tool
- 2 years in hybrid work environment
- 1 year in working with Lauterbach debuggers
- 1 year in working with SonarQube or similar static analysis tool

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $119,875.81 to $126,809. In addition, there is a potential yearly bonus at 8% of base salary.
